SciNet Class Schedule
Some SciNet courses have been announced for the coming semester, and we're looking for suggestions for more! Find out more and sign up at our Courses website.

  • TechTalks: These half-hour sessions will be part of the SciNet User Group meetings, every second Wednesday of the month at 12 noon. SNUG meeting will also include user discussion and pizza. Topics this semester include The File Systems and I/O (Sept), Version control (Oct), Debuggers & parallel debugging (Nov), and Performance and profiling tools (Dec).

Oct 6, 2010: Day long class Parallel I/O

Sept 22, 2010: Day long class Intro to Parallel Programming

Sept 3 and Sept 10, 12-1:30: Intro to SciNet classes. In 90 minutes users can learn a lot on how to use SciNet's systems.

July 14, 2010: SciNet hosted a one-day workshop for GPGPU users.

Jun 5-9, 2010: SciNet hosted HPCS 2010, the annual Canadian HPC conference for practitioners in all disciplines.

Aug 31-Sept 4, 2009: SciNet is holding a parallel programming course

June 2009: The new GPC cluster is ranked 16th in the world !
