Annual shutdown for chiller maintenance
A limited set of systems will be brought online by about 6PM today (16 Jan) as they should be able to run on free-cooling until the chiller maintenance is finished tomorrow. We are tentatively planning to bring up 75% of the GPC as well as the development BGQ (the half-rack system). The TCS head nodes (tcs-f11n05 and n06) will be turned on but not the rest of the TCS.
All SciNet systems were shut off around 7:40:00 am on January 16th. All systems are expected to be back up in the evening of January 17 but a subset will be brought up this evening
