- Dec 22, 2010 - Jan 2, 2011: SciNet office are officially closed, but the system will be up and running and the support staff will keep an eye out for emergencies.
- Jan 12, 2011: SNUG - TechTalk: TBA. The SciNet Users Group (SNUG) meetings are every month on the second Wednesday, and involve pizza, user discussion, feedback, and a half-hour talk on topics or technologies of interest to the SciNet community.
- Jan 18, 2011: Intro to SciNet. A class of approximately 90 minutes where you will learn how to use the systems.
- Jan 20, 2011: Intro to Parallel Programming. A full-day course covering the basics of parallel computation using OpenMP for shared memory computing and MPI for distributed memory computing.
- Feb 9, 2011: SNUG - TechTalk: TBA
- Feb 22, 2011: Science Illustrated. A two-day workshop on the technical and compositional techniques for creating good visualizations of scientific data.
- Mar 9, 2011: SNUG - TechTalk: TBA
- Mar 15, 2011: Introduction to Scientific Programming in C++. A full-day course.
- Apr 13, 2011: SNUG - TechTalk: TBA
- Apr 19, 2011: Introduction to Scientific Programming in Modern Fortran. A full-day course.
- May 9-13, 2011: Practical Parallel Programming Intensive. Intensive week-long workshop on Scientific Parallel Programming.
