SciNet Class Schedule
Some SciNet courses have been announced for the coming semester, and we're looking for suggestions for more! Find out more and sign up at our Courses website.
- "Intro to SciNet" classes. These will take about 90 minutes of your time and you will learn a lot on how to use SciNet's systems. Even experienced SciNet users may still pick up some pointers.Fri 3 Sept and Fri 10 Sept, 12-1:30.
- TechTalks: These half-hour sessions will be part of the SciNet User Group meetings, every second Wednesday of the month at 12 noon. SNUG meeting will also include user discussion and pizza. Topics this semester include The GPFS File Systems(Sept), Version control (Oct), Debuggers & parallel debugging (Nov), and Performance and profiling tools (Dec).
- Day long classes including Intro to Parallel Programming (Sept 22), Parallel I/O (Oct 6)

Jun 5-9, 2010: SciNet hosted HPCS 2010, the annual Canadian HPC conference for practitioners in all disciplines.
